Crowd surfing during Pitchfork Music Festival 2010
Another year of Pitchfork Music Festival is in the books. It was a stellar year once again. The only downside was the oppressive heat and humidity. Seriously, 10 hours shooting in 100 degrees is exhausting. I can’t imagine being one of the artists, jumping around on stage in that heat, or a fan packed in all day. Despite the heat, the energy level of the artists was incredible. I’m not sure how they do it, but they put their all into each performance and everyone put on fantastic crazy sets.
Stay tuned for more recaps and lots and lots of photos. If you were there, come back to check out the fan photos and crowd shots, and maybe you’ll see yourself.
If you are interested in viewing all the images and ordering fine art prints, you can check out the Pitchfork Music Festival galleries in our PRINT STORE
If you are interested in licensing any images, please contact me for a quote. Our licensing system is in a process of being automated, but until that time, you can email with image, and what type of use, distribution/circulation, etc. Cheers!
