Seattle’s Fleet Foxes knock it out of the ball park at Pitchfork Music Festival 2011 in Chicago. They played to a sold out festival, with their fans standing all day in the sun and heat just to have the ultimate viewing spots for the show.
They set the stage a bit unusually, setting up about 15 feet back from the front of the stage. Apparently this was due to the use of a can mic, needing to be farther from the audience to avoid picking up noise. Or so I was told (I’m clueless on these things). It was a great show. A perfect end to a perfect day.
