The June issue of Playback Magazine features one of my images for it’s Finale page. Every month they feature a single fullpage image on the last page of their publication. Since they were doing a feature on Sonic Youth, they wanted an image of Kim Gordon for the Finale page. The original was not a horizontal image so it had to be cropped to fit the format. I love Kim Gordon. To me, she’s the ultimate rock chic. The image was originally taken in July 2007 at Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago.
My name is Leigh Ann and I'm a music and portrait photographer. I'm also a wife, a mom, and a music junkie. I'm a good cook, but a lousy housekeeper. My office is a mess but I can usually find what I need. I don't clean windows but I like doing laundry. I am a native to Seattle Washington who has been living in North Carolina for 10 years and loving it. I’m an animal lover and fond of most creatures, except mosquitos. I love who I am and I love what I do. Really, what could be better? My job is to bring out the inner rockstar in all of us, and to me, that's awesome.
