Today is about a beautiful person, Lisa, who lost her battle with ovarian cancer this morning. She fought long and hard against that monster, and worked hard to help further the knowledge and fight for all those who will follow her in this epic battle. She was a beautiful person and her spark will live on in all those she inspired and loved.
I debated about who I should feature on the first Music Monday. Should it be something new, just released, or something that’s been on repeat on my ipod? I decided to start out with an amazing artist and the most gorgeous of songs. This week’s featured artist, Bon Iver (pronounced boʊniˈvɛr) is driven by the singing/songwriting of Justin Vernon who self-released the debut album For Emma, Forever Ago in July 2007, which was later released on the Jagjaguwar label in February 2008.
My name is Leigh Ann and I'm a music and portrait photographer. I'm also a wife, a mom, and a music junkie. I'm a good cook, but a lousy housekeeper. My office is a mess but I can usually find what I need. I don't clean windows but I like doing laundry.
